Join a respected Cambridgeshire consultancy team delivering ecological support across a diverse range of residential, commercial, infrastructure and environmental projects. As our Ecologist you will be involved in all aspects of projects from planning support and preliminary appraisals to ecological surveys, BNG assessments and detailed technical reporting. You’ll also play an active role in developing mitigation strategies and collaborate on project delivery as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
About you
- Previous experience in ecological consultancy or a similar ecological role
- Experience completing habitat surveys and producing detailed ecological reports
- Good understanding of UK ecological legislation and the local planning system
- Membership of CIEEM or working towards full membership
- Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK is essential
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with clients and stakeholders
- Locally based in Cambridgeshire and willing to travel within East Anglia
