Are you an experienced Architectural Technician or Designer seeking greater autonomy and the opportunity to work on exciting leisure and retail projects? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.
This well-established practice, with over 25 years of industry experience, is entering an exciting period of growth. The team specialises in leisure and commercial projects, delivering both new-build and refurbishment schemes for well-known brands and clients. Projects are managed from initial concept through to completion on site.
The Role
- Interpret client briefs and develop feasibility studies, including internal layouts and site plans
- Produce detailed drawing packages across all project stages
- Take projects from concept design through planning, building regulations, construction drawings and completion
- Collaborate closely with interior designers, structural engineers and project managers
- Attend site inspections and contract meetings where required
Hybrid working is available following an initial onboarding period, and the successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary reflective of experience.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulations, particularly Parts B, L and M within the commercial sector
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience in leisure and commercial projects
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience carrying out site inspections and attending contract meetings
- Ability to undertake simple measured building surveys
