About the Role

Technical Lift Services Ltd is looking for a General Manager – Commercial Operations to help run and improve the business day to day. This is a senior role with a strong focus on profitability, efficiency, contract performance, client management, and operational control. We are looking for someone who can come into the business, understand how it works, spot where improvements are needed, and help make those improvements happen. This is not a role for someone who only wants to sit behind a desk. It will suit someone who is practical, commercially aware, and comfortable dealing with engineers, office staff, clients, suppliers, and Directors.

Main Purpose of the Role

The main purpose of this role is to help make the business more efficient and more profitable. You will be expected to look at how work moves through the company, where time or money is being lost, and how we can improve the way we operate. This includes service contracts, call‑outs, repairs, modernisation works, office processes, engineer productivity, customer communication, quoting, invoicing, and follow‑up.

Which processes are slowing us down? What needs to change?
