Warehouse Operative β Farborough / Bracknell Location: Farborough, moving later to Bracknell Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent Salary: Β£27,000 per year Role Overview: A leading IT infrastructure service provider is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to support the smooth running of its warehouse operations. The role will initially be based in Farborough, with plans to relocate to Bracknell. This position is ideal for candidates who are organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-focused environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities Warehouse Operations * Receive, inspect, and store IT hardware and related equipment. * Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently. * Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular inventory checks. Health & Safety & Equipment Handling * Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet trucks (training provided if required). * Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment. Team Support & Coordination * Work closely with warehouse supervisors and service teams to ensure timely stock availability. * Assist with loading/unloading deliveries and coordinate with transport providers. * Support process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in warehouse operations. Candidate Requirements * Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or IT equipment handling environment preferred but not essential. * Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and move stock as required. * Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team. * Basic IT skills for stock management systems. * Flexible, reliable, and proactive with a positive attitude
