New contract wins have opened up an exciting opportunity for a Senior Wireless Communications Engineer well versed in SDR design and DSP algorithms to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions for a leader in telemetry applications. Basic level UK Security Clearance required.
A well-qualified Senior Wireless Systems Engineer with proven commercial experience in DSP (including FPGA) devices and algorithms will use their technical expertise to contribute to the development of distributed data systems for the management of telematics solutions used worldwide.
Requirements for the Senior Wireless Systems Engineer will ideally include:
- Extensive industrial experience in DSP devices, communications and algorithms.
- Fluency in DSP methodology and DSP languages such as C/C++.
- Software Defined Radio (SDR) design.
- Background involving wireless systems, satellite communications or telemetry.
- University engineering-based education.
Of particular interest is experience of the following:
- SDR and hybrid analogue/SDR design.
- Signal search and identification.
- High dynamic range broadband radio receiver design.
- Radio propagation, radio noise and interference.
