About the Role

Were seeking aWeb3 / Smart Contracts AuditororSecurity Software Engineerideally with aPhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Cryptographyto join a cutting-edge team of experts incompilers,finance, andsecurity research.

This fully remote role (open to candidates based in the UK or Europe) offers a chance to perform high-impactsecurity software researchwhile collaborating with some of the brightest minds in the industry. Youll contribute to securing blockchain applications by thinking like a real-world attacker to identify vulnerabilities and reduce risk.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Reviewing complex, high-assurance smart contracts.
• Building custom tools to analyze, assess, and secure blockchain codebases.
• Advising clients on risk and helping solve challenging security problems in DeFi and other blockchain systems.
• Exploring emerging technologies, particularlyzero-knowledge proofs.
• Continuing to grow through personal development and collaborative research opportunities.

What Were Looking For:

• A relevant PhD (Mathematics, Cryptography, or Computer Science).
• Proven experience inWeb3 / Smart Contract Auditing.
• Programming expertise inGo,Rust,Solidity, and/orC/C++.
• Strong understanding of code security and attacker models.
• Familiarity with financial mathematics or modeling is a plus.
• Experience or strong interest inzero-knowledge proofsis highly desirable.
• Ability to think strategically and design with long-term impact in mind.
