A Technical Support Engineer with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to set up and demonstrate a range of defence/security related electronic products and systems will provide technical support, manage demonstrations and deliver training for a thriving High-Tech Company. Training provided. Travel will be required for approximately 25% of the time including internationally.
Applications are welcome from Engineers who may have experience of setting up product demonstrations and equipment such as sensors, radar, broadcast, audio/video, or cameras. You may be a hobbyist or have worked in the Defence sector. You must be able to work independently and have excellent customer facing skills. Ideally qualified to Degree level (or equivalent technical qualification) in an Electronics Engineering discipline, you'll hold a full driving license and be willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally. Hybrid working available.
Key Requirements:- Electronic Engineering related qualification (Degree/HNC/HND).
- Proven experience of Electronic systems such as radar, security sensor systems or similar.
- Technical support experience.
- Full Driving License & ability to travel to deliver demonstrations and training.
- Excellent customer facing skills.
In this Technical Support Engineer role you will support customers with technical queries, providing training and setting up and undertaking product demonstrations. Reporting to the COO and working closely with project engineers, sales and engineering teams; you will take responsibility for achieving resolution of technical issues with the radar equipment, ensuring demo sites are fully operational and compliant.
