A Project Engineer with an electro-mechanical engineering background, strong fault-finding skills and familiarity with manufacturing processes will become part of an award-winning Engineering Company.A competitive salary will be offered with benefits to include a discretionary bonus, pension scheme, variable start/finish times, Life assurance and free fruit and snacks.
The Project Engineer will get involved with:
- Assembling, testing and troubleshooting electromechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Working closely with other engineers and production team members to optimize processes and resolve technical issues.
- Performing functional tests and quality checks on assembled devices to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintaining accurate documentation.
- Assisting in maintenance and calibration of production equipment and tools.
The Project Engineer should bring the following:
- A relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree).
- Proven experience in electronic and mechanical assembly to include soldering and wiring.
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read schematic diagrams.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to use standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generators.
