A Broadcast Products Company seeks an experienced Test Engineer with the ability to fault-find to component level, repair products, interpret circuit diagrams as well as develop test processes. You will ideally have a background involving the testing of Broadcast Audio products; will be competent in the fault-finding of analogue and digital equipment with FPGA/GPUs/CPUs and will hold a formal engineering qualification.
In this Production Test Engineer role, the successful individual will carry out tests and repairs of a range of the company’s Broadcast Audio products as well as assisting in the development of test processes, procedures and jigs/rigs to ensure effective testing.
Skills will ideally include:
- Minimum of ONC/HNC Electronics related qualification.
- Proven ability to read circuit diagrams.
- Ability to fault-find to component level on analogue and digital equipment with FPGA/GPUs/CPUs and embedded software.
- Highly beneficial to have experience of testing Broadcast audio equipment.
- Familiarity with SMPTE 2110 / 2022-6 IP protocols; SDI, HDSDI, AES.
- Knowledge of safety requirements and adherence to Quality standards.
