Do you have a Mechanical Engineering qualification, proven technical support experience and an aptitude for solving challenging problems? An established high-tech engineering company seeks a customer focused individual who has worked within a mechanical engineering environment and who has good diagnostic skills. This is fully on site with occasional travel to customer sites.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- A minimum of a HNC/HND in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
- Excellent customer-facing skills and documentation skills.
- Hands-on diagnostic skills within a mechanical engineering environment.
- The ability to present technical subjects with clarity.
- Good time management skills.
The successful candidate will support both customers and sales teams with technical matters - via phone and email as well as assisting with customer visits and product training. You will also support new product introduction, keeping up to date on new and existing products. This role offers daily diverse challenges, the opportunity to use your mechanical knowledge within a cutting edge environment and opportunities to broaden your knowledge. A full driving license is required and you must have full eligibility to work in the UK.
