A Lead Electro-Mechanical Technician with a background involving assembly and testing of electro-mechanical components and systems will join a thriving award-winning Technology Company in North Cambridge. Working within a dedicated team of engineers, the successful Lead Technician will bring a range of knowledge to include fault-finding and debugging of electro-mechanical systems, assembly and SMT soldering, reading schematics and ideally some experience with optical assembly. You will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and test processes, ensuring the efficient production of opto-electromechanical devices.
The Lead Electro-Mechanical Technician should possess the following:
- A formal Engineering qualification (minimum of HNC/HND).
- Familiarity across electronic, electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
- Proven experience of Electro-mechanical assembly techniques.
- SMT Soldering, wiring and cable harness assembly.
- Strong troubleshooting, fault-finding and debugging skills.
- Experience using a range of standard test equipment.
- An understanding of basic programming.
