A Technical Support Engineer with an Electrical Engineering background, good customer facing skills and strong problem solving abilities will play a key role within the European Technical Centre of an established Technology Company. Competitive salary package on offer.
Qualified to a minimum of HNC/HND level in Electrical / Electronic Engineering and with previous experience of working in an Applications or Technical Support role, you will possess good hands-on diagnostic skills as well as having the ability to present technical subjects clearly.
In this Electrical Support Engineer role you will enjoy a diverse range of tasks from supporting customers via phone or email with technical queries, undertaking new product development proposal activities, processing requests for special products as well as supporting sales with application development and customer visits.
The ideal Electrical Support Engineer will bring:
- HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
- Previous experience of working in a technical support or applications engineering role.
- Hands-on Electrical engineering diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
- Good customer facing skills.
- Experience with Electric Drives, PLCs and/or serial interfaces would be a distinct advantage.
