Bid Manager – Defence / Security – Technical Consultancy – To C£75K with Hybrid + Bonus

A Bid Manager with several years’ experience bidding in a Technical Service environment predominantly in the Defence sector / MOD will take responsibility for managing and coordinating the full bid lifecycle process.

The successful Bid Manager will be a key member of the sales team of a leading Technical Consultancy, where you’ll focus on Defence and Security, working primarily with the MOD.

The Bid Managers should bring the following:

  • A Degree qualification ideally in a technical discipline.
  • Experience in government procurement as well as business to business bidding.
  • Proven experience of bidding in a technical services environment, predominantly in Defence / MOD.
  • Preparation of commercial and technical bid or proposal documents.
  • Experience of client contact.

The responsibilities of the Bid Manager will include:

  • Managing the full lifecycle of bids including support to Contract negotiation.
  • Preparing and delivering compelling bid content and documentation aligned with customer requirements.
  • Management of government frameworks.
  • Liaising with legal teams on bid information.
