A Production Technician with a background of working within a High-Tech Electronics/Mechanical Engineering related industry; good soldering, wiring and assembly experience and with strong fault-finding abilities, will join the production team of an award-winning High-Technology Company. The Production Technician role will focus on the electro-mechanical assembly and test of a variety of mission critical imaging and security systems covering the manufacture and testing of mechanical, optical and electronic assemblies, component level fault-finding and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • A formal Engineering qualification.
  • SMT soldering (to 0201) and PCB repair skills.
  • Wiring and cable-harness assembly experience.
  • Good fault-finding skills.
  • The ability to read schematics.
  • Some experience with electro-mechanical assembly.
  • An understanding of clean room techniques.
  • A basic understanding of SolidWorks or similar and electronic principles.
