A Test Development Engineer with a proven understanding of electronic hardware and experience of developing Automated Test Equipment in a production environment will take responsibility for developing and supporting ATE systems for an established Technology Company, a Global leader in Embedded Computing products. Hybrid working and a generous salary package are on offer.

The Test Development Engineer will bring:

  • A formal Electronic Engineering qualification.
  • Proven understanding of electronic hardware.
  • Commercial experience developing Automated Test Equipment in a production environment.
  • Proficiency with test instrumentation and test automation tools.
  • Experience with DFT, BIST and diagnostic firmware features.
  • Experience collaborating with software ATE developers to build integrated test platforms.

Exposure to the following would also be highly beneficial:

  • Embedded Computing systems.
  • Manufacturing processes such as SMT, assembly or AOI.
  • Experience with environmental testing.
  • The ability to design simple custom electronics for test fixtures.

Applications are sought from Test Development Engineers with several years’ experience of working within an electronic manufacturing environment, ideally related to high-reliability industries such as Aerospace, Defence or Industrial Computing.
