Competencies for the Semiconductor Verification Engineer will ideally include: * A Bachelors or Masters Degree in an Electronics related discipline. * Proven experience working within the Semiconductor industry. * Competence in Digital Design Verification using UVM or similar. * Experience with SystemVerilog Assertions and Formal Verification. * Good knowledge of simulation tools (Cadence ideal). * A track record in verifying complex designs in high volume ASIC applications. * Scripting skills. The Semiconductor Verification Engineer role will encompass: Working closely with Design Engineers in verification and validation of circuit designs; developing design verification methodologies and implementing standard debug flows as well as preparing design verification plans based on design specifications – utilizing the latest techniques, tools and technologies for all verification activities.
