You will be a key part of cutting-edge technology development which is revolutionising wired connectivity by enabling the building of scalable, energy efficient AI systems worldwide.
The successful Director of Software Engineering, with hands-on expertise in software architectural principles in areas of semiconductor ASIC / SoC development, will deliver the full software stack for this thriving High-Tech Company including validation software, embedded firmware, device drivers, system software and application level software.
Requirements for this Director of Software role include:
- Extensive senior level hands-on experience in software engineering within a semiconductor, systems or hardware technology industry.
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end software solution architecture which integrates hardware and software across multiple technology domains.
- A background of software development involving Semiconductor SoC/ASIC and/or memory systems.
- Deep technical expertise to include firmware/embedded systems, device drivers, Operating System level programming, application software and software tools.
- Strong program management capabilities, stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence technical direction whilst integrating emerging technologies into complex product roadmaps.
A competitive salary will be offered to the successful Director of Software, plus shares (currently pre-IPO), hybrid working, private healthcare (including family), 25 days holiday, pension, flexi-time and relocation assistance.
