Radar Systems & DSP Engineer – Mathematical Analysis using Matlab/MathCAD – Hybrid – C£60-80K + Benefits. A Radar Systems Engineer with experience in radar systems architecture/ satellite communication systems design with a focus on Signal Processing, will contribute to analysis and modelling of a variety of radar signal processing algorithms and waveforms to select the best options for new radar designs. You will be rewarded with a generous salary package, depending on your level of experience and Hybrid working. As a key member of the Senior Engineering Team, the Radar Systems Engineer will take ownership of the system design of the radar including specifying the hardware architecture, RF performance characteristics, waveform design and digital signal processing algorithms. The Radar Systems & DSP Engineer will ideally possess the following * An Engineering, Mathematics or Physics Degree / Masters / PhD. * Experience of radar system design / satellite communication systems. * Strong Mathematical analysis and simulation skills to include Matlab, MathCAD and/or SystemVue. * Solid experience of Signal Processing (DSP). Familiarity with the radar equation and its influence on radar architecture, waveform design and signal processing methods would be highly beneficial as would knowledge of multi-function radar design and/or phased-array antenna design. As a key member of a small team, you will be encouraged to communicate new ideas, will possess an enquiring mind and be open to discuss challenging technical problems with your colleagues as a strong team player.
