Global leader in the development of Satellite Communications Infrastructure seeks a Principal RF / Microwave Design Engineer with an in-depth understanding of both Microwave board design and RF systems design. In this critical role, the Senior RF Engineer will manage the delivery of complex RF sub-system blocks; building radio system prototypes as well as defining test and design verification plans and executing them accordingly; working effectively within a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
What the Principal RF / Microwave Design Engineer will bring:
- A strong University education with a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Electronics, Opto-electronics or similar Engineering discipline.
- A proven track record of taking RF / Microwave radio system line ups from concept to production.
- Solid experience of RF system design, microwave board design and transceiver architectures.
- Good knowledge of EM modelling techniques and tools.
- Proven experience of Design Analysis and Simulation of RF system performance.
- The ability to build radio system prototypes.
- Solid experience of working with test instrumentations and calibrations.
