The Electro-Mechanical Technician role will focus on the electro-mechanical assembly and test of a variety of mission critical imaging and security systems covering the manufacture and testing of mechanical, optical and electronic assemblies, component level fault-finding and documentation.
The Electro-Mechanical Technician should bring the following skills & experience:
- An Engineering qualification or equivalent relevant industrial experience.
- Proficiency in electromechanical assembly techniques including soldering, wiring and cable/harness assembly.
- PCB repair skills.
- Good fault-finding and debugging skills.
- An understanding of clean room techniques.
- The ability to read schematics.
- An understanding of SolidWorks or similar mechanical design software and appreciation of electronic principles.
