Head of Production - Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing (Supply Chain - ERP/MRP, Planning, Quality, Compliance) - North Cambridge - Competitive Package. A competent Head of Production will take responsibility for all production and manufacturing operations for a new department within an established award-winning High Technology company; overseeing production planning, supply chain coordination, quality performance and continuous improvement initiatives. Applications for this Head of Production will bring proven experience of working within a low-volume electro-mechanical manufacturing environment with highly configurable products; a strong understanding of production planning, purchasing and supply chain operations, extensive experience of working with ERP/MRP systems as well as knowledge of quality systems and compliance. Applications for this Head of Production are sought from those with the following skills and experience: - An Engineering or relevant technical degree qualification. - Proven experience running a low-volume electro-mechanical manufacturing facility for highly configurable products. - Good understanding of supply chain operations, purchasing and production planning. - Proven knowledge of quality systems, compliance and manufacturing best practices. - Proven experience of ERP/MRP ownership. - Experience managing operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
