A Software Engineer with 3-5 years object-orientated software design experience will develop software for the latest radar, security and surveillance systems.
You’ll bring a Software Engineering related degree, C++ development skills, an understanding of real-time software design and familiarity with Scripting languages.
Hybrid - Salary £45-55K experience dependent.
Of particular interest is experience in the development of security / defence command and control software and using GIS (Geographic Information System) data.
The successful Software Engineer will design and develop software across the company’s radar systems, including external radar control systems and interfaces as well as bringing the ability to improve the software capabilities and enhance the user experience.
Requirements for the Software Engineer include
- Technical Degree with software bias.
- Modern C++ development skills (C++ 11/14/17/20) and Python or similar scripting.
- Minimum of 3-4 years commercial software design experience.
- Understanding of real-time software design & development.
- Experience with Embedded Linux and embedded software development.
- Experience of effective UI design.
A competitive salary will be offered in the region of £50-55K (depending on your experience and relevant skills) with Hybrid working available (3 days in office per week / 2 WFH) plus benefits to include 25 days holiday, private medical cover, Life Assurance, Pension Scheme and more.
