A Production Technician with a background of working within a High-Tech Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering related industry; good soldering, wiring and assembly experience and with strong fault-finding abilities, will join the production team of an award-winning High-Technology Company. The Production Technician role will focus on the electro‑mechanical assembly and test of a variety of mission critical imaging and security systems covering the manufacture and testing of mechanical, optical and electronic assemblies, component level fault‑finding and documentation.
Qualifications
- A formal Engineering qualification.
- SMT soldering (to 0201) and PCB repair skills.
- Wiring and cable‑harness assembly experience.
- Good fault‑finding skills.
- The ability to read schematics.
- Some experience with electro‑mechanical assembly.
- An understanding of clean room techniques.
- A basic understanding of SolidWorks or similar and electronic principles.
