A Contracts Manager with solid experience in the delivery of high-value technically complex Contracts will join an award-winning High-Tech Company offering a generous salary package and flexible hybrid working.
The successful individual will be experienced in overseeing multi-site operations ideally within engineering, aerospace, Defence or a similar technical industry; will be commercially aware with strong communication skills as well as having the ability to support programme teams with contract interpretation, claims management and risk mitigation.
In this Contract Manager role you will lead the day-to-day contract performance, ensuring services are delivered safely and in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining current contracts and the development of commercial bids, providing strategic guidance on challenging contracts.
Key skills and experience should include
- Proven ability to manage Contracts within an Engineering, Defence, Aerospace, Manufacturing or similar technical industry.
Experience of negotiating and managing complex, high value contracts.
- Experience in overseeing multi-site operations, working with supply chains and managing suppler agreements, ensuring strong governance and compliance.
- Solid understanding of maintenance delivery, regulatory and contractual compliance including adherence to relevant procurement and export control requirements.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Of particular interest is working knowledge of Defence contract terms including FAR/DFARS and defence procurement frameworks, but not essential.
