A Test Development Engineer with a proven understanding of electronic hardware and experience of developing Automated Test Equipment in a production environment will take responsibility for developing and supporting ATE systems for an established Technology Company, a global leader in Embedded Computing products. Qualifications
- A formal Electronic Engineering qualification.
- Proven understanding of electronic hardware.
- Commercial experience developing Automated Test Equipment in a production environment.
- Proficiency with test instrumentation and test automation tools.
- Experience with DFT, BIST and diagnostic firmware features.
- Experience collaborating with software ATE developers to build integrated test platforms.
- Exposure to the following would also be highly beneficial: Embedded Computing systems, manufacturing processes such as SMT, assembly or AOI; experience with environmental testing and the ability to design simple custom electronics for test fixtures.
