A Test Development Engineer with a proven understanding of electronic hardware and experience of developing Automated Test Equipment in a production environment will take responsibility for developing and supporting ATE systems for an established Technology Company, a Global leader in Embedded Computing products. Hybrid working and a generous salary package are on offer.
The Test Development Engineer will bring:
- A formal Electronic Engineering qualification.
- Proven understanding of electronic hardware.
- Commercial experience developing Automated Test Equipment in a production environment.
- Proficiency with test instrumentation and test automation tools.
- Experience with DFT, BIST and diagnostic firmware features.
- Experience collaborating with software ATE developers to build integrated test platforms.
Exposure to the following would also be highly beneficial:
- Embedded Computing systems.
- Manufacturing processes such as SMT, assembly or AOI.
- Experience with environmental testing.
- The ability to design simple custom electronics for test fixtures.
