An award-winning Technical Consultancy seeks a highly experienced Electronics Prototype Technician to join their talented team, bringing strong knowledge of RF Electronics, PCB prototyping and surface mount assembly along with good wiring and fault-finding skills.

A comprehensive salary package will be offered plus generous Pension, Company Bonus and more.

The successful Electronics Prototype Technician will hold a formal Electronics related qualification, have 3+ years’ experience working within an electronics lab or assembly environment and must have excellent wiring and soldering skills. Bringing a flexible attitude to be able to manage multiple tasks and to thrive on solving a range of challenges, you’ll be a self-starter with good documentation skills.

Key Requirements for this role include:
  • Proven experience with surface mount electronics
  • 3+ years experience of working within an electronics lab or electronics assembly environment.
  • Proven soldering skills of small surface mount devices (0603 and 0402).
  • Solid Electronic assembly experience to IPC-A-610.
  • Experience relating to PCB prototyping.
  • Ability to assemble complex prototypes from schematics and drawings.
  • Good fault-finding skills.
