We are looking for an Assistant Technician/Fork Lift Truck Driver to join our warehouse team. This role is ideal for someone who already has practical forklift experience and a valid FLT licence, and is looking to continue developing their skills in a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a forklift truck to move, load and unload goods
- Supporting general warehouse duties as required
- Checking goods for damage and reporting any issues
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and well organised
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
Safety & Compliance
- Always follow site safety rules and procedures
- Carry out basic daily checks on the forklift truck
- Report any faults, hazards or near misses
- Use PPE provided and work safely at all times
What We’re Looking For
- A valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Can work in a team as well as use their own initiative and work solo
- Forklift experience is essential
