We’re looking for people who want to be part of building something meaningful for themselves, our clients, and the wider sector.
Why this role matters
We’re hiring a Workshop Supervisor to take ownership of one of the most critical environments in our delivery operation. But this is more than just managing tools and equipment — it’s about how our teams experience working in a safe, organised, and high‑performing environment. You’ll be the foundation of operational excellence in the workshop — ensuring everything is in place, compliant, and ready — so project teams can deliver with confidence.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Thrives on ownership, bringing structure and control to busy workshop environments
- Understands that high standards in safety, compliance, and organisation enable great delivery
- Takes pride in creating a workspace where teams can perform at their best
- Has the motivation to improve processes and drive efficiency
How you’ll Contribute
You’ll be accountable for the day‑to‑day management of the workshop — ensuring it operates safely, efficiently, and in full alignment with company standards and legislation.
You’ll:
- Manage all workshop equipment, tools, and plant, ensuring availability and reliability
- Maintain accurate equipment registers, inspection records, and tracking systems
- Implement and manage tool control processes (issue, return, inventory)
- Ensure compliance with testing and certification requirements (PAT, HAVS, calibration)
- Maintain a safe, clean, organised, and compliant workshop environment
- Supervise workshop activity and ensure adherence to site rules and safety standards
- Coordinate goods in/out, materials storage, and preparation for site works
- Support site teams by issuing, tracking, and managing materials and equipment
- Oversee waste management and environmental compliance
- Deliver safety briefings and promote a strong safety culture
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience within a workshop or technical environment
- Strong understanding of plant, tool management, and compliance requirements
- Experience maintaining equipment registers and inspection records
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
- Supervisory experience
- Experience using stock or works management systems
- Knowledge of COSHH and vibration monitoring requirements
- Relevant certifications (PAT Testing, Forklift, First Aid, Fire Marshal, SSST)
What you’ll get
£17.00‑£18.00 per hour • 25 days holiday + bank holidays • Private healthcare (plus family options available) • Company pension • Death in Service & Critical Illness cover • Recognition scheme & genuine commitment to your development
Ready to take ownership? This isn’t just another workshop role. It’s your chance to create an environment where safety, efficiency, and high standards come together to support exceptional delivery.
