- Keeps processes running efficiently with excellent control of stock and documentation
- Looks for opportunities to improve workflow, layout, and performance
How you’ll Contribute

- Manage daily workshop operations to maintain high standards of quality, organisation, and safety
- Assist with deliveries, goods in/out, and coordination of materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records of tools, equipment, and materials
- Create and update spreadsheets and documentation — with particular focus on Cyber Projects
- Liaise with procurement and project teams to ensure timely availability of components
- Support wider operations and engineering teams with workshop tasks
- Contribute ideas toward improving workshop layout and future development
- Report to the Construction Interface Manager and work closely with Procurement
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in workshop coordination, assembly, or production support
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical components used in panel builds and junction boxes
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency with Excel and digital record‑keeping
- Understanding of FAT testing processes and quality control
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Experience in the gas network or utilities sector
- Exposure to workshop efficiency or process‑improvement initiatives
Personal Attributes
- Reliable, hands‑on, and detail‑focused
- Able to work independently while supporting a wider team
- Positive, adaptable, and open to improving ways of working
- Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
What you’ll get
- Opportunities to develop within a growing engineering business
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Company pension
- Private healthcare options
- Supportive team culture and long‑term career development
