As Business Development Coordinator, youâll coordinate highâquality, compliant proposals that reflect our technical expertise and professional standards. Youâll work across Business Development, Engineering, Construction, Commercial and Project Delivery teams to produce cohesive, clientâfocused submissions and support a sustainable pipeline of opportunities.
How youâll contribute
- Youâll coordinate the preparation and submission of bids and proposals, ensuring each opportunity is professionally managed and aligned with client expectations.
- Bid coordination & client engagement
- Coordinate RFIs, PQQs, ITTs and supplier validation submissions
- Support the Bid / No Bid process and communicate outcomes
- Organise bid kickâoffs, reviews and submission approvals
- Coordinate inputs across BD, Engineering, Construction, Commercial and Delivery teams
- Ensure submissions meet client requirements for structure, content and compliance
- Compile and format final proposals in line with company approval processes
- Support professional communication with clients during the bid process
- Capture feedback and lessons learned from bid outcomes
- Maintain the sales pipeline and BD trackers ensuring opportunity data remains accurate
- Support pipeline development through structured opportunity tracking
- Contribute to BD reporting including bid performance and win/loss analysis
- Assist with capability statements, case studies and proposal content
- Support speculative enquiries and new client engagement
- Help identify relevant industry events and conferences
- Gather technical, commercial and programme information from internal teams
- Issue RFQs to suppliers and track responses during tender preparation
- Coordinate NDAs and assist with client terms and conditions reviews
- Track bid correspondence including RFIs and technical queries
- Maintain documentation within the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS)
- Structure bid folders and documentation in line with company procedures
- Maintain registers, trackers and action logs supporting bid governance
- Support resource forecasting by coordinating opportunity data
- Maintain memberships and accreditations such as Achilles UVDB, Ariba, ISNetworld and Safe Contractor
- Understand bid scope, timelines and client expectations
- Ensure submissions meet company standards and deadlines
- Handle commercially sensitive information with confidentiality
