Technica is an independent engineering and construction company solving complex challenges for the UK and international energy sectors. We deliver turnkey, multi-disciplinary projects — from design through to build — with control, confidence and care.
Our ‘Why’: “Technica believe in long-term relationships. We want our clients to have total trust that we’ll deliver excellence in our solutions to their engineering problems.”
We’re entering a bold new chapter, underpinned by a 5-Year growth strategy that will see Technica evolve, expand and play a leading role in the energy transition. We’re looking for people who want to build something meaningful — for themselves, our clients, and our sector.
Why this role matters
We’re hiring a C&I Engineer to help deliver some of our most important engineering projects. But this is more than engineering — it’s about how our clients experience working with Technica and applying engineering expertise to deliver robust electrical design projects
As a C&I Engineer, you’ll develop detailed C&I designs that ensure project success, working closely with engineering & design teams and contributing directly to high-quality, reliable outcomes for our clients.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Thrives on technical problem-solving, clarity in complex environments, and takes real pride in the detail of their work.
- Understands that great C&I design is about more than producing drawings — it’s about developing safe, efficient, and reliable engineering solutions.
- Has the drive to apply their engineering skills and the curiosity to expand their technical knowledge with guidance and support.
You’ll work on a diverse range of engineering challenges, collaborating with some of the most experienced C&I professionals in the industry. Whether it’s specifying instrumentation, developing control system designs, or integrating with other engineering disciplines, your work will have a direct impact.
You don’t need deep experience in every part of EC&I or the energy sector to succeed here. If you bring strong electrical fundamentals, a proactive mindset, and a desire to grow, we’ll support you every step of the way.
Join us, and help shape how Technica delivers its 5-Year strategy — through innovation, collaboration, and design excellence
