Technic are looking for a detail-focused Quality Inspector to help deliver high-quality products to our customers. This hands-on role involves inspecting both incoming and outgoing components using precision tools. It’s a great opportunity for someone with a background in a high–attention-to-detail role to step into a quality-focused position, working closely with a supportive team in a fun, flexible, and fast-growing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Continual inspection - Carry out First Offs, In-Process, Goods Inwards and Final Inspection to customer drawings and specifications, from visual checks of finishes, quality to micron-accurate measurements using advanced metrology equipment such as micrometers, CMMs, and visual equipment.
  • First Article Inspection Reports – Using Net Inspect to formulate FAIR’s - entering dimensional records and treatment processes.
  • Inspect outgoing parts, verifying that all documentation and quality records are complete and correct and parts are dimensionally accurate.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to identify and resolve quality issues quickly and effectively and assist in RCCA’s.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and contribute to the continual improvement of our inspection and quality processes.
  • Calibration – ordering of Gauges, maintenance & Calibration of Gauges, upkeep of Calibration Records.

What We’re Looking For

  • Aerospace background: experience in Aerospace environments.
  • Surface finish knowledge: understanding of paint, anodising, and surface finish standards.
  • Metrology experience: confident using a CMM, micrometers, vernier callipers, plug/thread/air gauges, and surface roughness tools.
  • Technical ability: strong maths skills and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Processes – Able to work to AS9100D aerospace standards and internal procedures.
  • Software – Confident in using Microsoft and occasional Solidworks (training on Solidworks available).
