TechNET IT has partnered with DEC Group UK Ltd, part of a global pharmaceutical engineering organisation, to appoint an IT Business Systems Lead. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for all UK IT Business Systems, driving efficiency, integration and continuous improvement across the site. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead ERP (Syspro), DMS (SharePoint), SQL database management and multi-system integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full ownership of Syspro ERP management, configuration and optimisation
- Lead integration of bespoke software into Syspro
- Oversee SharePoint DMS administration and governance
- SQL database management (T-SQL, views, stored procedures)
- Align systems with global subsidiaries
- Manage UK IT business systems budget
- Support disaster recovery, backup and cyber security principles
- Deliver user training and drive system adoption
- Provide hands-on infrastructure and helpdesk backup support
About You:
- Proven experience managing SQL-based ERP systems
- Strong MS-SQL expertise
- Experience delivering multi-system integrations
- Strategic IT mindset with operational delivery capability
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure, networking (LAN/WAN/VLAN/DNS/DHCP)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and project leadership skills
