An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join a global organisation undergoing significant enterprise-wide IT transformation. This role will support the delivery of a large-scale Digital Workplace programme, coordinating multiple global workstreams across Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Windows 11 deployment, endpoint modernisation, and future desktop transformation initiatives through to 2027.
The organisation is investing heavily in technology transformation and moving towards a more consolidated, product-led IT operating model, making this an excellent opportunity to join a growing and highly visible IT function with strong senior leadership support.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate global Digital Workplace projects across multiple regions and business functions
- Drive delivery of Windows 11 deployment and wider desktop transformation initiatives
- Manage project governance including RAID logs, reporting, steerco updates, and stakeholder communications
- Coordinate internal technical teams, third-party suppliers, and business stakeholders
- Ensure clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences
- Support roadmap planning across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, endpoint management, and collaboration technologies
- Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges
- Facilitate project meetings, stand-ups, governance forums, and executive reporting sessions
- Work closely with infrastructure, security, and operational teams to ensure successful transition into BAU
- Support the evolution of delivery processes and governance frameworks within a developing IT environment
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager delivering enterprise-scale IT projects
- Strong experience within Digital Workplace / Modern Workplace environments
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including:
- Microsoft 365
- Entra ID / Azure AD
- Intune / Endpoint Management
- Windows 11 deployments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing global or multi-site technology rollouts
- Comfortable working in evolving environments with developing processes and frameworks
- Strong supplier and third-party management experience
- Ability to challenge constructively, drive accountability, and deliver outcomes
- Self-sufficient and proactive approach to delivery and problem-solving
- Enterprise-scale endpoint transformation programmes
- Cloud-first transformation environments
- Experience within matrix or global organisations
- Exposure to governance and operational transition processes
- Hybrid working model with 1-2 days onsite in Gloucestershire
- Global role working across international teams and business units
