We are supporting a UK-based Microsoft Dynamics delivery partner on an international D365 Finance & Operations programme for a manufacturing client with operations across the UK, France and Portugal. The client is looking for a strong D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant to support the finance workstream, with a particular focus on the UK business initially.
This role would suit someone with strong D365 F&O Finance experience who understands finance processes in depth and can work closely with senior finance stakeholders, delivery teams and business users. A background in accounting, finance operations or chartered accountancy would be highly beneficial.
Key experience required:
- Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience
- D365 F&O Finance functional consulting experience
- Strong understanding of core finance processes
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Fixed Assets
- Cash and Bank Management
- Tax / VAT
- Financial dimensions
- Account structures
- Posting profiles
- Period-end / month-end processes
- Finance reporting
- UAT, testing and go-live support
- Stakeholder workshops and requirements gathering
- Fit-gap analysis and functional documentation
- Experience working with finance users and senior stakeholders
Beneficial experience:
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant / chartered accountancy background
- UK finance process knowledge
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, supply chain or product-based environments
- Exposure to multi-country D365 F&O rollouts
- Experience working with both finance and operational workstreams
- French finance exposure would be useful but is not essential
The project is moving quickly, so the client is looking for someone who can engage immediately, work as part of a collaborative delivery team and add value across finance process design, testing, issue resolution and go-live readiness.
