Interim Reward Manager (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Technet IT has partnered with a leading global professional membership organisation operating across more than 25 countries and employing approximately 1,500 staff. They are undergoing a period of strategic transformation and modernisation. As part of this evolution, they are seeking talented professionals to help enhance their reward frameworks, strengthen pay transparency, and ensure alignment with their long-term organisational goals.
Purpose:
The Interim Reward Manager will support the delivery of the organisation’s reward agenda during a period of transformation. The successful candidate will provide hands-on management of core reward processes, including annual cycles, job evaluation, pay benchmarking, and reward policy updates, ensuring consistency and compliance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day reward operations, including salary reviews, bonus calculations, and benefits administration.
- Conduct job evaluations and ensure roles are accurately graded in line with established frameworks.
- Carry out benchmarking exercises to ensure pay and benefits remain competitive.
- Support the implementation of new or revised pay structures, policies, or reward programmes.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and senior stakeholders to deliver reward solutions aligned with organisational goals.
- Prepare and present data-driven insights on pay and benefits.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and ensure reward practices comply with legal requirements.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior Reward or Compensation & Benefits role.
- Strong technical expertise in job evaluation, grading, and benchmarking.
- Solid understanding of UK pay legislation, tax, and benefits regulations.
- Excellent analytical and Excel skills.
- Confident communicator able to present complex data clearly.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
