Portfolio Manager – Digital Projects (CMS Focus)

Central London (3 days per week) | Hybrid | £55,000 per annum + benefits

A forward-thinking digital consultancy is looking for a Portfolio Manager to lead the delivery of complex website projects, with a focus on CMS platforms and strategic client relationships. This is a senior, hands-on role that blends project leadership, technical understanding, and client partnership.

The Role

As Portfolio Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of large-scale website development projects. You’ll work closely with clients, development teams, designers, and strategists to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard. You’ll be expected to lead delivery while also driving strategic value for clients, particularly in CMS-heavy environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of CMS-based website builds, including scoping, planning, and execution
  • Act as the main client contact, translating business needs into technical solutions
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and smooth delivery
  • Use Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate to project and team needs
  • Manage risk, change, and budget across multiple simultaneous projects
  • Identify and act on opportunities for improvement, upselling, or longer-term client value
