We are partnering with an established, purpose-driven organisation based in Oxford that is looking to appoint a senior IT Manager to lead and evolve its technology function. This is a strategic, organisation-wide leadership role with full ownership of the IT roadmap, vendor ecosystem, cybersecurity posture, and systems architecture.

The Opportunity

  • Own and deliver a multi-year IT strategy aligned to business objectives
  • Lead technology selection, application governance, and systems architecture decisions
  • Oversee a Managed Service Provider and external suppliers, holding them accountable to SLAs and security standards
  • Lead on cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance frameworks
  • Support ISO 27001, ISO 27701, Cyber Essentials / CE+, and NHS DSPT processes
  • Oversee infrastructure, cloud platforms, SaaS estate, and Microsoft 365
  • Deliver IT projects and drive digital improvement initiatives
  • Act as a senior advisor to leadership on technology investment and direction

This is an oversight-led role rather than a hands-on support position, though strong technical grounding is essential.

About You

  • Proven experience as an IT Manager, Head of IT, or similar senior technology role
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, cloud environments, and SaaS ecosystems
  • Experience developing IT strategy and multi-year roadmaps
  • Vendor and MSP management experience
  • Strong grasp of cybersecurity and data governance
  • Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy environments preferred
