6-month contract | Hybrid (Luton 1–2 days/week)
TechNET IT has partnered with a global, FTSE-listed organisation in the pharmaceutical/life sciences sector (100,000+ employees) to support the delivery of enterprise-wide Data & AI initiatives. This is a hands-on Project Lead role focused on driving execution across Finance and Commercial functions, ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure, and can mobilise stakeholders quickly.
The Role
You will act as the “linchpin” across business, data, and technology teams to ensure the successful rollout of enterprise data standards and controls. This is not a traditional PM role; it blends delivery, enablement, and stakeholder leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive execution of enterprise data & AI governance controls across Finance
- Translate high-level standards into practical, business-ready processes
- Lead stakeholder engagement, communications, and training enablement
- Support embedding of global data standards within finance data domains
- Enable data product governance across lifecycle activities
- Improve AI-readiness through better data structure, quality, and metadata
- Map dependencies, risks, and delivery sequencing across teams
- Establish clarity on ownership, accountability (RACI), and decision-making
What We’re Looking For
- Strong delivery background (Project Lead / Senior PM / Programme support)
- Proven stakeholder management across business and technical teams
- Experience working with data governance, data standards, or data controls
- Ability to operate in fast-moving, evolving environments
- Strong communication skills, able to drive alignment and adoption
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g. pharma, FS) beneficial but not essential
