Technet IT has partnered with a leading global professional membership organisation operating across more than 25 countries and employing approximately 1,500 staff. The organisation is undergoing a period of strategic transformation and modernisation. As part of this evolution, they are seeking talented professionals to help enhance their reward frameworks, strengthen pay transparency, and ensure alignment with their long-term organisational goals.

Purpose:

As Head of Rewards, you will develop, implement, and lead the organisation’s total reward strategy, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, competitiveness in the market, and compliance with relevant regulations. You will partner with the Executive Leadership Team, HR, and Finance to shape reward frameworks that support the attraction, motivation, and retention of top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of global or multi-region total reward strategies, including job architecture, salary structures, and incentive plans.
  • Oversee executive compensation governance, including preparation for the Remuneration Committee.
  • Develop and maintain clear, transparent frameworks supporting pay equity, performance-linked reward, and progression.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking to keep pay and benefits competitive and market-aligned.
  • Manage annual reward cycles, including salary reviews and bonus schemes, ensuring fairness and compliance.
  • Champion pay transparency and equity initiatives, including statutory reporting on gender or ethnicity pay gaps.
  • Provide leadership and development to the Reward team.
  • Maintain relationships with external reward consultants and suppliers.
  • Ensure all reward policies and practices comply with UK and relevant international legislation.

Skills & Experience:

  • Significant experience in senior reward leadership roles, including strategic design and operational delivery.
  • Strong technical knowledge of compensation, benefits, job evaluation, and grading frameworks (e.g., Mercer, Hay, WTW).
  • Proven track record preparing materials for and engaging with Remuneration Committees or Boards.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Professional qualifications such as Chartered CIPD or Certified Compensation Professional preferred.
