Deputy General Manager – Automotive Logistics Location: Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum + £3,900 Car Allowance Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Are you an experienced leader looking for your next career move in the automotive logistics industry? We are seeking a Deputy General Manager to join our team at a leading Vehicle Distribution Centre in South Yorkshire. Develop and manage a resource planning model to assist in informed decision-making on labour and subcontract requirements. Act as the second-in-command, deputising for the General Manager during absences and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Deliver quality-driven processes, innovation, and operational excellence while reducing waste and optimising efficiency. Research and recommend operational improvements, including layout enhancements, IT system solutions, and resource planning strategies. Provide strategic Quality and CI support across the network, aligning operations with customer KPIs and maximising financial benefits. Strong background in process improvement and resource management. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in the automotive or logistics sector is highly desirable.
