An established and fast-growing product-focused company in the consumer goods sector is seeking a Data Analyst to join their commercial and operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced analyst to take ownership of reporting and insights across the business, helping drive decision-making and support a company-wide shift toward more data-driven operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain reports using Excel, MSQuery, and SQL to deliver insights across departments including Finance, Sales, and Operations.
- Extract, analyse, and interpret business-critical data from SAGE 200.
- Lead and support the business-wide adoption of Power BI – building dashboards, training users, and standardising reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver custom reports and data solutions.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to support inventory management, product performance tracking, and customer trends.
- Improve data quality and streamline reporting processes.
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience as a Data Analyst in a commercial or operations-focused setting (mid to senior level).
- Proficient in SAGE 200, with a solid understanding of how to extract and interpret financial and operational data.
- Excellent skills in Excel, MSQuery, and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience with Power BI, ideally in supporting a business-wide rollout or adoption.
