Contract Opportunity – Security Solution Architect
Location: Coventry (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
Contract Length: 12 Months
TechNET are supporting a major organisation undergoing a large-scale security transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Security Solution Architect to join their internal security architecture function.
This role offers the opportunity to operate as an embedded architect within a highly regulated enterprise environment, leading security design activities across complex technology and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading security feasibility assessments and solution design activities
- Producing high-quality High-Level Security Designs (HLDs)
- Supporting enterprise-scale transformation programmes
- Providing security assurance and governance across delivery teams
- Working closely with technical and business stakeholders to shape secure, pragmatic solutions
- Presenting and defending architectural decisions within governance forums and Design Authority
Required Experience:
- Strong background in Security Solution Architecture within large enterprise environments
- Proven experience authoring enterprise-grade security HLDs
- Hybrid cloud security architecture experience (Azure preferred, AWS beneficial)
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF
- Experience operating within governance and architectural review processes
- Background working in regulated environments and complex delivery landscapes
Desirable:
- Utilities or critical infrastructure sector experience
- OT / Operational Technology exposure
- IAM, Zero Trust, PCI DSS or NIS-R knowledge
- Experience securing data platforms and AI solutions
