We’re supporting a consultancy client looking for an OT Edge Devices & Gateway Specialist to support a utilities-focused OT discovery and design programme. The role is focused on Clean Water Quality Monitoring sensor integrations, assessing current field devices and recommending suitable industrial gateways, RTUs and edge devices for reliable data acquisition and OT/IT integration.

Contract details

  • Rate: £350 per day
  • Length: 12 months
  • IR35: Outside IR35
  • Location: Coventry, 2 days per week onsite

Key experience needed

  • Strong background in OT, industrial gateways, RTUs, telemetry or SCADA
  • Hands-on experience with sensor data acquisition and field connectivity
  • Knowledge of protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, WITS, DNP3 or Sparkplug B
  • Experience assessing device limitations and recommending fit-for-purpose gateway solutions
  • Utilities, water, environmental monitoring or industrial infrastructure experience would be highly beneficial
  • Ovarro S2000 / S2000 Nano experience would be a strong bonus
