We are recruiting a Senior IT Project Manager to join a global Group Technology function within an enterprise organisation. This position will be responsible for delivering a diverse portfolio of technology and business change initiatives across a complex international environment. The successful candidate will operate across multiple technology disciplines, working closely with senior stakeholders, suppliers and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery and business outcomes. This role would suit an experienced IT Project Manager who combines strong governance and stakeholder management capability with a broad understanding of enterprise technology environments.
You will be responsible for delivering technology projects from initiation through to implementation and operational handover, ensuring projects remain aligned to business objectives, governance standards and delivery expectations. The project portfolio includes initiatives across areas such as:
- Microsoft 365 and Collaboration Technologies
- Infrastructure and Shared Services
- Cloud Platforms and Services
- Technology Operations
- Security and Compliance
- End User Computing
- Enterprise Technology Transformation
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end technology projects and programmes across multiple business functions.
- Develop and maintain project plans, governance structures, budgets, forecasts and resource plans.
- Lead Steering Committees, project governance forums and executive reporting activities.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and mitigation strategies.
- Develop business cases and support investment approval processes.
- Build strong relationships with executive sponsors, senior stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Coordinate internal technology teams, third-party suppliers and implementation partners.
- Ensure successful transition into BAU operations and service ownership.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, governance and reporting practices.
What We're Looking For
We are interested in experienced Project Managers who have delivered technology change within enterprise IT environments. You do not need to be a hands-on technical specialist, however you should possess a solid understanding of how enterprise technology functions operate and how key technology domains interact. This could include experience across:
- Infrastructure and Technology Services
- End User Computing
- Networks and Connectivity
- Technology Operations
Proven experience delivering IT projects within complex enterprise environments. Strong project governance experience including Steering Committees, executive reporting and stakeholder management. Business case development and investment justification. Active risk, issue and dependency management. Budget ownership, forecasting and financial management. Supplier and vendor management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong understanding of enterprise technology environments and the relationships between infrastructure, cloud, workplace technology, applications and security.
