We’re supporting a large, complex organisation with the appointment of an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist to help shape and develop its identity capability. This is not simply a BAU IAM administration role. The organisation is at an exciting stage of its IAM journey and needs someone who can combine hands-on technical capability with the ability to assess the current environment, identify gaps and help define what good should look like.

You’ll have the opportunity to influence areas including:

  • Identity lifecycle management
  • RBAC, personas and entitlement models
  • Least privilege and segregation of duties
  • SSO, federation and MFA
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Cloud and SaaS identity integrations
  • Automation, scripting and APIs
  • Future IAM tooling and platform improvements

A significant part of the role will involve engaging with different teams across the organisation, understanding how they work and translating those requirements into appropriate roles, permissions and access models. Experience across technologies such as Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, ForgeRock, CyberArk or similar IAM/PAM platforms would be relevant. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who wants more ownership than a traditional IAM support role and the chance to have a genuine influence over how an IAM capability develops.
