We are working with a well-established, growing organisation in the leisure and hospitality sector, seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join their head office team. This is a key role focused on turning data into actionable insight, supporting decision-making across multiple areas of the business. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver reporting, analyse performance, and help drive operational and commercial improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Design, develop and maintain dashboards and reports for business stakeholders
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators including revenue, utilisation and customer trends
- Deliver ad-hoc analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
- Systems & Data Support
- Act as a point of contact for reporting and analytics queries
- Troubleshoot data and reporting issues across systems
- Support improvements to reporting functionality and data processes
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and governance
- Business Performance
- Identify trends and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and performance
- Support pricing and promotional activity through data analysis
- Analyse customer behaviour including segmentation, retention and lifetime value
- Provide recommendations based on data insights
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting needs
- Present insights in a clear, actionable way to non-technical audiences
- Support users with dashboards and promote data-driven decision making
Requirements
- Experience in a BI or Data Analyst role
- Strong Power BI skills (including DAX)
- Solid SQL skills
- Advanced Excel
- Experience working with stakeholders and presenting insights
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Exposure to automation tools or scripting (e.g. Python, VBA)
- Experience working with APIs or data integrations
- Background in hospitality, retail or service-led environments
