Tech Nest Talent is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Test Lead to join a major infrastructure transformation programme.

You'll lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of infrastructure testing across on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring solutions are fully validated before production.

Working closely with Infrastructure, Dev Ops, Cloud, Security, and Operations teams, you'll drive testing across Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT), Operational Readiness Testing (ORT), Infrastructure Testing, and Non-Functional Testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the infrastructure test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Manage Infrastructure Testing, OAT, ORT, resilience, failover, disaster recovery, and non-functional testing.
  • Coordinate testing across infrastructure, cloud, networking, security, and operations teams.
  • Develop test plans, test scripts, traceability, and test evidence.
  • Manage defects and reporting using Jira.
  • Validate operational readiness, including backup and recovery, monitoring, logging, security controls, and runbooks.
  • Provide regular status updates, risk reporting, and stakeholder communications.
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tooling, and automation.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience leading Infrastructure Testing within large enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, VMware, virtualization, networking, storage, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Experience with Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT), Operational Readiness Testing (ORT), and Non-Functional Testing.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience testing high availability, resilience, backup and recovery, monitoring, and security.
  • Experience using Jira for test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills
