We are looking for a Field Mechanical Engineer at junior to mid-career level to support building mechanical systems across Alaska. The role involves working on heating, cooling, ventilation, and associated building services, with exposure to both design fundamentals and practical site applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, assessment, and maintenance of HVAC and mechanical building systems
  • Assist with analysis and troubleshooting of heating, cooling, and air-conditioning equipment
  • Participate in site visits, inspections, and system evaluations
  • Support coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders during implementation and upgrades
  • Contribute to documentation, reporting, and compliance with engineering standards

Requirements:

  • 2–7 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles or relevant project environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • EIT (Engineer in Training) certification preferred
  • Academic or practical exposure to building HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and air-conditioning

  • Must be located in Alaska; Anchorage, Wasilla, or Eagle River preferred.
